What it does

HeedsquareBot fetches publicly available reports, news, papers and posts for heed², an observatory that turns published material into short, attributed observations and follows how they develop over time. Category: agent, data collection.

How it behaves

• It reads robots.txt before every fetch and follows it, including Crawl-delay.
• It fetches single pages at a moderate pace, not whole sites.
• It does not get around logins, paywalls or bot challenges.
• It identifies itself as HeedsquareBot/1.0 (+https://heedsquare.com/bot) and signs its requests (Web Bot Auth, RFC 9421). The keys are listed at /.well-known/http-message-signatures-directory.

To keep HeedsquareBot away from your site, add this to your robots.txt:

User-agent: HeedsquareBot
Disallow: /
